The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all businesses. With operations completely shut for close to two months, the entire supply chain has faced unprecedented challenges during this time. The implications have been worst for small business units, petty contractors as well as the workers themselves. This pandemic has revealed cracks within the industries that already existed, but have now been brought to the fore. Daily wage, contractual and migrant workers have been the most affected, having been denied adequate housing, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation and even minimum wages.
In an attempt to bring forth and document the voices of those worst affected, some webinars in the series have had a particular focus on workers, contractors and unit owners from different industries across the country.
